Loin des tendances, la Chambre aux Tulipes est notre plus belle réussite d'amateurs décorateurs, née d'un pari : conserver sa frise murale rose d’origine, d'une qualité rare, pour lui offrir un nouveau souffle.
En jouant sur des accents vert olive et crème pour l’habillage des fenêtres et du lit, nous avons transformé cette pièce en un espace à l'énergie mature, rappelant l'univers des exploratrices victoriennes d’une autre époque. La structure en laiton de son lit double ajoute une touche d'authenticité et d'histoire, ayant été retrouvée, selon la légende, dans une rivière de la Côte-Nord.
An escape in the Victorian charm
Far from following trends, the Tulip Room is our greatest achievement as amateur decorators, born from a challenge: to preserve its original pink wall frieze—a piece of rare quality—and breathe new life into it.
By incorporating olive green and cream accents in the window treatments and bedding, we’ve transformed this room into a space with a mature, sophisticated vibe, evoking the world of Victorian female explorers from a bygone era. The brass frame of the double bed adds a touch of authenticity and history; according to legend, it was found in a river on the North Shore.
